Prayer Requests

Prayer is part of the life of faith. Moses prays for the Israelites when snakes attack in the desert (Numbers 21:7). Solomon prays for wisdom (1 Kings 3:9). Isaac prays for a child with his wife Rebekah (Genesis 25:21). The Psalms implore God for deliverance from enemies (Psalm 6, 10, 17, and others). Jesus prays (Matthew 14:23, 26:36). Jesus encourages his disciples to pray (Luke 11:1+, 18:1).

We continue in the example of the patriarchs, Psalms, Jesus, and the disciples by praying when we worship, and praying daily for ourselves and others.
