I wonder how people wind up on church websites. Some people are probably just looking to see what other churches are doing. Some people may be looking for Disciples of Christ churches to visit. If that’s you, Welcome to Faith Christian Church! But some people—I suspect—are looking for something. If you haven’t found “it,” maybe we can help!

Welcome home! At Faith Christian Church, you’re family from the moment you walk through the door…or visit the website. So, “Welcome home.” It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. Our door is open, and you are welcome.

A few months ago, a man showed up for worship with a dog. It was a comfort dog, a dog he took to nursing homes. After the service, we were talking. He said, “I’m a Catholic, but I’ve been turned away from churches because of my dog.” “I’m sorry to hear that,” I said, “your dog is better behaved than I am. I’m curious: How did you find us?” He mentioned a minister friend of mine and said, “She recommended that I come here; she said we would be welcome. She wasn’t sure about other congregations.”
